Laundry Sorter Attendant

Responsible for efficiently handling laundry operations, including sorting and folding of various PPE items such as gloves, vests, helmets, and goggles. This involves preparing the laundry for our attendants to initiate the washing process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Check in orders in computer system according to each bundle
• Sort Laundry, checking quality of garments
• Standing, or working on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Basic computer use.
• Maintain company standards of performance and comply with all standard policies, safety policies and procedures.
• Folding laundry orders.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and safety practices within the sortation area.
• Wear personal protective equipment and adhere to all safety training.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by Supervisor and Management team.

Position Requirements:

• Pay rate: $16/ hr
• Schedule will be Tuesday - Friday from 10 am - 6 pm.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in a high volume laundry production environment preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of a normal shift.
• Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending.
• Capable of working in a warehouse environment.
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Team player with the skill-set to work independently with minimal direction.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Open to change and ambiguity.
• Excellent attendance.
• Must be able to read and write the English language.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
